Yesterday I had the most lovely show day without even sitting on a horse! π π΄

I was off being a corporate girl with work in the UK most of this last week so I opted out of competing on Saturday as Iβd be too rusty.
Sometimes being on cheer squad / warm up / test calling / water fetching / video duty is lovely as it gives you time to chat to everyone, to see your friends ride, to watch a bit and learn a bit without the pressure of competing.
Emma was competing with Big Bird and got her first novice qualifying score of the season . Aoife and her horse Ri smashed it in the prelim winning both classes ππ»π₯

Josephine got the day started with a demo of how to ride a 66%+ Grand Prix ππ₯
Barbara and Scout are my #cobscan inspiration and I loved seeing them getting a brilliant score in the adv medium π
I hadnβt seen Rowena in way too long and her new horse is divine ππ΄

Christa and π Queen Ping were awesome in their adv medium tests.
Georgia and Jupiter cruised through the elementary π
Lastly but so not least Lynn went out for the first time in two years and competed on her own young horse π π΄ most people donβt realise Lynn learned to ride as an adult and sheβs bloody amazing. I remember her doing her first ever dressage test on her horse Joe (who was not by nature a dressage horse π€£) and the transformation from riding club all rounder to dressage diva is fully complete π β¨ I donβt think Iβve ever seen such a big cheer squad around an arena wishing someone well!
I caught up with one of my besties Louise OBrien Photography for the chats πΈ and had some shopping at DSE Equestrian Outfitters where Emma did more damage than me for once!
We had made a girls weekend of it with a sleepover for BB and a gorgeous dinner at The Brass Fox π₯ π¦ on Friday.
Thanks Eastern region for a fab show!
